John Kilzer performs The Way on DittyTV. During his interview with Willy Bearden, he says his songs are “a little left-of-center,” but the studio audience found them perfectly on point. His energy is contagious, and he is delighted to be on stage at what he calls “Creative Ground Zero on South Main in Memphis.” His songs are catchy, his lyrics thoughtful, and his energy absolutely contagious. The performance is even complete with a “bark-along” in place of the traditional “sing-alongs” he laughingly swears against.
John currently leads a recovery ministry at St. John’s United Methodist Church, and it is clear to anyone who sees him perform that he has a gift for appealing to his audience’s spiritual side. He was thrilled to be a part of DittyTV’s global broadcast experience, which he feels is finally taking Memphis music to the world at large.
